Brad McCarroll BEd (Syd); MBA Exec (AGSM)
Brad McCarroll has a distinct blend of experience in both the corporate and community sectors, most recently heading up Macquarie Bank Sports (MBS) and prior to that developing a National Education Program within the Community Rugby Division at Australian Rugby Union (ARU). Having completed an MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management and originally completed an Education degree at the University of Sydney, Brad has vast experience in designing, implementing and leading innovative corporate and community sporting programs. This provides a unique perspective on the pressures and dynamics facing private, not-for-profit and government organisations to achieve their community outcomes.
During tenure as Chief Operating Officer of MBS, the program experienced a period of unprecedented national growth through the development of strategic partnerships with various community and professional organisations and implementing coaching programs delivered by leading Australian sporting role models. At the ARU, Brad was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Australian Rugby Union's highly successful start-up National Education Program – EdRugby during Rugby World Cup 2003 which was recognised by the Australian Sports Commission in successive years, winning the Junior Sport Award in 2004 and runner up in 2005.
