Various government agencies beyond Sport and Recreation Departments recognise that sport is a useful means of achieving social objectives. These include but are not limited to the Departments of Health, Education, Ageing, Immigration and Citizenship.
Mutual Sport can provide expertise to government agencies by:
- Reviewing existing programs and processes aimed at improving social outcomes for participants
- Developing innovative strategies which utilise sport as one means of addressing the needs of specific population groups
- Implement programs in partnership with other government agencies
- Facilitate partnerships and programs with business and sport which achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
