Mutual Sport has a unique blend of experience and expertise in the corporate, government and community sport industries to enable clients to improve their results by using sport as a means of achieving their commercial and community objectives. Mutual Sport aims to improve the resources that support the community sporting industry by working across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors to secure funding, build programs, and enhance relationships that are mutually beneficial to each of the stakeholders.

Why sport?
Sport is integral in Australian society, as entertainment; as a means to improve physical and mental well being of individuals; as a tool to address social outcomes for the disadvantaged; and as an infrastructure within which a vast number of individuals and families interact on a regular basis. Consequently, supporting and partnering with sport is recognised by many organisations as an extremely useful means of achieving their commercial, community and altruistic objectives.

Community sport – the reality!
Although sport affords this recognition, the reality is that most private sector funding and support is directed at professional, high profile elite sport. In addition, government funding is disparate and shrinking, while the infrastructure supporting community sport is characterised by decreasing volunteerism, insufficient facilities and clubs and associations struggling to remain solvent.

It is a primary focus of Mutual Sport to ensure community sport can work toward overcoming some of these issues while supporting businesses and government agencies achieve their objectives.
